Frequently asked
What is autocross?+
A time-attack event on a low-speed course marked out by traffic cones, usually in a large parking lot or airport tarmac. One car runs at a time, no wheel-to-wheel racing, top speed usually under 60mph. Runs are 45–60 seconds each and you typically get 4–6 runs per day for $30–$50.
What car do I need for autocross?+
Any car that passes basic tech (functional brakes, no loose interior items, seat belt works). Everyone runs from Miatas to minivans to full-race Corvettes — the class system groups similar cars so you're competing against your equivalent.
